Members of the Zonta Club of Naples support local organizations through volunteering and donations to community projects that address women's economic self-sufficiency, provide access to health and education, promote eradication of violence against women, and help women provide a safe environment for their children.

Zonta provided birthing kits

Miracles In Action (MIA) - The club volunteered at the MIA’s farmers' market table one Saturday a month as a community project and donated $1500 to MIA for stoves to women in Guatemala.

Zonta’s Annual Fashion Show - Provides high school students from PACE Center for Girls, Immokalee Teenage Parenting Program and Naples Teenage Parenting Program the opportunity to walk the runway while gaining self-esteem. Proceeds from this fundraiser helped support the girls' educational programs, provide Scholarships to Women who are furthering their education in Health Sciences at Lorenzo Walker Institute and fund Zonta International Service Projects to eradicate violence against women worldwide.

Christmas Service Project - Club members helped brighten the holidays for the students at both Immokalee and Naples Teenage Parenting Programs.

In keeping with our commitment to support our youth’s educational pursuits, the club also sponsored a student for Collier Youth Leadership and awarded a local Young Women in Public Affairs Award.

The Zonta Club of Naples has identified 15 non-profits in our community who have a direct relationship to enhancing the lives of women. Through the club, our members donated $33,600 and 600 hours to these organizations.

Monies totaling $6000 given to Zonta International in 2009-2010 for the Amelia Earhart Fellowship Awards for graduate study in aerospace-related sciences and engineering, Zonta International Strategies to Prevent Violence Against Women (ZISVAW), and Zonta International Service Projects.
