








Young Women in Public Affairs Award
The Zonta Club of Naples has awarded its 2012 Young Women in Public Affairs Award to Ashley Inman, a Naples resident and a senior at Gulf Coast High School.

Ashley receives a $1000 award from the club, and her application has been forwarded to the
Zonta District 11 committee for their consideration. At the club level this award was created when the club
was founded in 1973. In her application, Ashley demonstrated her commitment to community service and
women’s issues as a member of her school’s National Honor Society where she has provided over 300 hours of
community service to Collier County. As President of the Model United Nations program at Gulf Coast High School,
she has led her team to the tenth spot in the nation. Ashley is a National Merit Commended Scholar,
a participant in Girls State, a member of the Gulf Coast High School’s Varsity Cheerleading and Dance Line,
and a Collier County Laureate Program winner. She will attend the University of Florida in the fall where
she will study pursue Middle East studies to forge better relations between that region and the US.
